Community Kids Haven Early Learning Centre Ardeer is a family owned 96 place long day care service. Our room's have been designed and structured to provide a rich and diverse range of experiences that promote a child's learning and development. Our yards are aesthetically pleasing and create an environment filled with wonder and give children unlimited options to play and run. We have a unique team of dedicated early childhood professionals who are committed to providing the highest quality care and learning for all children and families in our community.

We are looking for a passionate and talented educator to join our team Part Time Monday to Friday.

Requirements for role:

Certificate 3, Diploma, Bachelors or working towards a qualification in Early Childhood Education

Current First Aid qualification including Anaphylaxis and Asthma

Current WWCC (employee) or VIT registration

Knowledge and experience with the Early Years Learning Framework

KindyHub knowledge an advantage

Experience in Early Education and Care

Experience and confidence with guiding written documentation in relation to children's learning and development

Excellent communication skills

  • In this role, you will:

Contribute to the planning of an education program that supports a holistic approach to the care and development of children aged from birth to six years of age

Work co-operatively with other educators, families and early childcare professionals to provide a safe, caring, engaging and stimulating environment for children attending the service

Be creative, engaging and inclusive with children and foster the belief that children are strong, competent and capable citizens who are full of wonder and curiosity to learn (Reggio Emilia Approach)
